We were delighted to welcome our new Junior Infants to the school and to welcome back our wonderful Senior Infants too! We explored the theme of Marvellous Me for the month of September and were busy doing lots of different activities on this topic. We were learning all about our five senses in Science. In Geography we spoke all about the community of Newcastle. In History we spoke about how we have grown and changed since we were babies, toddlers and in preschool. In Art we painted self-portraits and we explored the theme of Mé Féin in our Gaeilge lessons too! In Aistear we made mirrors and playdough models of ourselves. We built our homes using Jaggo blocks and had great fun using our imaginations in the Home Corner. We also played musical body parts and some clapping games! We were busy bees!
