Junior Achievement Ireland Primary School Programme

Junior Achievement Ireland has been running a primary school programme through Scoil Mhuire for the past number of years.

JA primary school programmes show young students the vast array of opportunities there are for them to use their talents, imagination and creativity when they grow up. JA programmes can help students reach their best potential!

At Scoil Mhuire we are very lucky to have some great local business volunteers come to our school to implement the JA programme. Over the past two years we have ran several fantastic courses such as:

Energize (2021/2022)

Energize, a partnership between JA and Gas Networks Ireland, explores the world of science and engineering in a fun and exciting way.
The exciting world of science is all around us! Energize encourages students to continue with science in second level education and beyond and introduces them to the career opportunities available to them in the future. Energize explores the world of science; health and wellbeing, forensics, energy, safety and light in a fun and exciting way.

Power of Design (2022/2023)

Supported by the Centre for Excellence in Universal Design (CEUD), the Power of Design programme highlights to students the importance of design in day to day life and the career opportunities in this field. The Power of Design also introduces primary and secondary school students to the use of design as a tool for positive change.
