Health Promoting Flag

Our school is participating in the Healthy Ireland Health Promotion Schools initiative. The healthy promoting schools process aims to have our school a healthier, happier place for all of our students in the school to learn and work. This initiative is being led by Ms Joyce but with the help of children throughout the school. One great product that has come from this initiative is a 'buddy bench'. This is a bench in the garden that helps build friendships. If a child has no one to play with or would like to play with someone else, they can sit on the bench and a member of the Health Promoting Committee will come play with them.
