The girls played excellent football throughout the day, showing great skill, determination, teamwork and sportsmanship. They faced strong opposition from Ballymacarbry, Ardfinnan and Ballygiblin and competed brilliantly in every match.
While we were not successful in bringing home the trophy this year, the girls did themselves, their families and the school proud with their efforts and positive attitude throughout the tournament.
Congratulations to all involved and a special word of congratulations to Ballymacarbry on winning the tournament. It was fitting to see the plaque return to Deirdre O'Ryan's native Ballymacarbry.
