We were delighted to welcome members of Carrick-on-Suir River Rescue to the school last Friday to collect a cheque for €600 for money raised thanks to the generosity of families. Carrick-on-Suir River Rescue carry out absolutely vital work in our area, responding to emergencies and helping to save lives, all on a completely voluntary basis. They rely entirely on donations and fundraising like this to continue their lifesaving service. We were delighted to welcome members of the team to the school on Friday where they happily engaged with the pupils. Their visit was both inspiring and educational, and we are proud to have supported such a dedicated and hardworking group through our school fundraiser.
