We celebrated Green day on Wednesday. We were thrilled to welcome Greta Ryan, who captivated the kids with the delicate art of flower pressing. We also had the pleasure of a visit from Dave Hewitt our plant expert! Dave guided each child in planting their own seeds in individual pots, which they were absolutely delighted to take home. He also shared a wealth of knowledge about caring for and looking after plants. To add to the green theme, the children enjoyed delicious green milkshakes. The children also participated in a special competition to name our new market garden and design a fantastic logo for it. We were incredibly impressed by their creativity and the imaginative ideas they came up with! It was a day filled with hands-on learning, creative challenges, and plenty of green fun.
