Over the past five weeks, 5th & 6th Class had the fantastic opportunity to take part in the Energise Programme delivered by Paul Clarke from Boston Scientific, in partnership with Junior Achievement Ireland. The programme was hugely enjoyable, and the children learned so much through the wide range of hands-on activities each week.
The final session was a real highlight. The children explored how light and reflection work and then had the exciting challenge of building their own periscopes. The sense of curiosity, teamwork and problem-solving on display was brilliant to see.
A big thank you to Paul, Boston Scientific, and Junior Achievement Ireland for bringing this engaging and educational programme to Scoil Mhuire Caisleán Nua. The children thoroughly enjoyed every week and gained valuable STEM knowledge and skills along the way.
