1st and 2nd class have been very busy with Junior Achievers recently. We had the wonderful Catríona in teaching the boys and girls all about computer scientists. They broke problems down into smaller steps, they looked for patterns in problems, they focused on important details and they created step by step instructions. Over the weeks the boys and girls created some wonderful origami animals, they sorted and catagorised materials, tested their coding skills by getting Little Red Riding Hood safely to her dear old granny's house, they created pixelated images and they used an online platform to create different codes all about themselves. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Catríona Kennedy for facilitating this wonderful programme in our school. We absolutely loved it!
