Our 4th Class students recently took part in the BLAST Programme, a wonderful initiative that gives primary and post-primary students across the country the opportunity to work with a professional artist on a unique creative project.
As part of the programme, the children worked closely with artist Margueritte to design and create a beautiful mural inside the front entrance of our school. The mural represents our school promise: “Be kind and caring, be respectful, be responsible and always try our best.”
The students were involved in every stage of the project, from planning and sharing their initial ideas, to designing and creating the finished piece. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to express their creativity, collaborate together, and see their ideas come to life in such a meaningful way.
A huge thank you to Margueritte Kent for working so closely with the children and helping them bring their wonderful ideas to life. We are extremely proud of the finished mural and the hard work and enthusiasm shown by all involved!
