Our class had a fantastic time celebrating Space Week! We created beautiful chalk pastel drawings of the planets and designed aliens using our names as templates. We learned how the Sun affects the Earth through day and night and the changing seasons, and listened to Gustav Holst’s The Planets while responding through drawing. Everyone also enjoyed learning about the Space Race and completing projects on the planets!
