Last week we were honoured to have the Liam McCarthy Cup, the Nolan Cup and Seamus O' Riain Cup in our school. A huge thank you to Mr Shortt for organising this very special visit for the boys and girls. We were delighted to have Daire English, Davy Byrne and Tommy Fitzgerald visit and inspire the next generation of Tipperary hurling. A big shout out to our own GAA representatives, Joanie O' Dwyer, Dennis O' Grady & Donal O' Loughlin for joining us in the celebrations. Ms Moloney spoke to the boys and girls all about hard work,resilience and teamwork skills that these determined role-models demonstrated to us all of last year. Mr Shortt got a very special mention in our assembly and we wish to give a huge congratulations to him and his home club of Upperchurch Drombane in their recent success winning the Intermediate Club Hurling All-Ireland Final.
