Visit from Newcastle First Responders
Today, our Rang 5 and Rang 6 pupils had the wonderful opportunity to take part in a CPR workshop delivered by Newcastle First Responders.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to Seán, Linda, Ger and Mary for giving so generously of their time and expertise. Their engaging and informative workshop taught our pupils valuable lifesaving skills and helped them gain a greater understanding of how to respond in an emergency situation. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
We were also absolutely delighted and incredibly grateful to receive the gift of a defibrillator for our school. This generous donation will be an invaluable resource for our school community and provides an added level of safety for everyone.
On behalf of all our pupils and staff, thank you once again to Newcastle First Responders for your kindness, generosity and dedication. The vital work you do in our community is truly inspiring, and we are very grateful for all that you do.
Go raibh míle maith agaibh!
