Wonderful Whole-School Assembly Celebrating Responsibility and Kindness
Last Friday, all classes gathered together for a very special whole-school assembly. This positive and uplifting event focused on one of the four pillars of our School Promise: Being Responsible.
Mrs. McCaffrey spoke to pupils about her mischievous elf, Scout, who—much to everyone’s amusement—is certainly not showing responsible behaviour these days! We even got to watch a video of Scout’s antics in her classroom the night before, which had everyone laughing. Using Scout as an example, we all agreed to work hard on being responsible as we move forward. Our staff are excited to recognise this effort and are ready to award lots of well-deserved points.
Mrs. McCaffrey also took a moment to congratulate all pupils for their remarkable kindness over recent weeks. Buckets have been filling up everywhere, and every act of thoughtfulness has been noticed and appreciated.
Thanks to this wonderful effort, every house team achieved over 200 points, earning extra playtime as a reward. Comhghairdeas to the Blue Team, who achieved the highest total overall! They will receive a homework pass and a special certificate from Ms. Moloney.
It was a truly lovely and positive gathering for our whole school community. A huge thankyou to Mrs. McCaffrey for organising such a fantastic assembly. We are really looking forward to our January one already!
